Case Study – Cleveland Clinic – Vision Control Integrated Louvers with Fire Rated Glazing

Vision Ventures have completed the Vision Control louvered glazing project at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi – a multi-specialty academic medical center located in the United Arab Emirates on Al Maryah Island in partnership with Unicel Architectural, a manufacturer of vision and daylight control solutions based in Canada. Approximately 250 Vision Control units of Unicel’s patented louvers-between-glass have been installed at CCAD for interior use in doors, windows and borrowed lites. Glass types include clear tempered, laminated and fire rated glazing for 45, 60 and 90 minutes.

The CCAD is a new, world-class healthcare facility. The supplied fire rated Vision Control louvers will contribute to optimal levels of patient privacy and safety. We are proud to be a part of this high-performance facility design that promises to deliver unprecedented levels of patient-centered care.

The 364 bed and 409,234 square meter facility will be an extension of the Cleveland Clinic mode of care, offering a range of tertiary and quaternary medical services. CCAD is the largest medical center in the Middle East offering advanced medical technologies within an atmosphere that promotes wellness and recovery.
